With 30 years dedicated to law, Mr. Marshall brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry, and in particular to his areas of specialization, personal injury law, wrongful death cases, real estate law, and product liability. When asked why he decided to pursue a career in law, Mr. Marshall said:
"There were some mandatory classes that I needed to take in order to obtain my Bachelor’s in commerce that were dedicated to law as opposed to quantitative analysis or accounting. They felt right to me and I found them fairly easy and natural. I enjoyed debating and logical reasoning, I enjoyed discovering all sides of an argument and not just my side of it. This prompted me to write my LSAT and I did pretty well on that as well."
As a thought-leader in his field, Mr. Marshall keeps his finger on the pulse of law by immersing himself in numerous professional organizations within his industry. When he isn’t busy fighting on behalf of his clients at his firm, he is often contributing invaluable insight to the Canadian Bar Association and Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice in Newfoundland and Labrador, the Federal Court of Canada, the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador (Trial Division and Court of Appeal), and the Provincial Court of Newfoundland and Labrador including Criminal, Traffic, and Small Claims Divisions.
